What is a LEM transducer?
LEM offers a wide range of voltage transducers (also called voltage sensors) to allow isolated measurement of voltage. The broad range of products measures voltage from 10 V to 6.4 kV, with a variety of technologies including Hall Effect,Fluxgate and insulating digital.
How does a LEM current transducer work?
The current IS flows through a measuring resistor, transforming the current into a proportional voltage. The accuracy of the measurement will not only depend on the accuracy of the measuring resistor but also strongly on the sensitivity of the flux detector.

What is LEM system?
The “LEM” This new trigger/firing system is termed the Law Enforcement Modification or LEM for short. The system is comprised of a set of six unique drop-in parts that can be installed in existing USP pistols, both full size and compact models.
Where is Lem made?
Based in Harrison, Ohio, LEM produces high quality meat-processing & production equipment and supplies with the do-it-yourself hunter and home processor in mind—all at competitive prices.
What is CT and VT?
Generally, when measuring high voltage and high current transformer signals, you use a VT (voltage transformer) and CT (current transformer). The ratios between the primary and secondary rated voltages and rated currents are the VT and CT ratios.
What is difference between VT and CT?
One of the major difference between them is that the current transformer converts the high value of current into low value whereas the potential or voltage transformer converts the high value of voltages into low voltage….Comparison Chart.
Basis for Comparison | Current Transformer | Potential Transformer |
---|---|---|
Impedance | Low | High |
Are LEM Products made in the USA?

What is Lem technology used for?
LEM products fall broadly into multiple areas of application and are used within general industry, automotive industry, for railway and trackside applications, energy measurement relating to railway on-board applications, energy & automation, battery monitoring, and in Wi-LEM – wireless sub-metering networks that measure energy consumption.
What’s new at Lem?
What’s new at LEM? A current sensor with a split core structure, allows to install the measurement system on an existing power cable, and this without disconnection and reconnection process. The HAH3DR is a three-phase current sensor for automotive high voltage traction inverters in xEVs.
